The Glass that Doesn't Lie

Ladies, what would we do without a mirror? We use it everyday, many times a day. We use it to check to make sure our hair is right, our makeup is perfect, our clothes are matching and not wrinkly. Sometimes we frown at it, because we just can't get it right. Other times we smile because we feel we are successful.


There is a another mirror that we should be checking everyday. That mirror is the Word of God. We should be checking to make sure that we match up to what God tells us we should be. This mirror does not lie. It shows us for who we are but it also helps us to fix that "strand that is out of place." It helps us to wipe away that mistake we made. It helps us to line up with Jesus.

 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. -2 Cor. 3:18 Have you looked in the mirror today?
