Thankful Tree

  Being thankful can not be taught in a day. I find it sad that many people wait until Thanksgiving to verbalize their thankfulness. Here is a GREAT IDEA, thanks to Bargain Bound, to teach your children and be reminded of how much we have to be thankful for.

What do you do?
1. Every day starting in the fall or during November, place a leaf with something you are thankful for on the tree. By Thanksgiving Day, you will have a very full tree and very full heart full of thanksgiving.

What do you need?
1 A big tree cut out or a big piece of brown paper or poster board
2. Paper leaves
3. Tape
4. Writing Utensil
How do you make it?
1. Either buy a huge tree cutout or make a tree out of brown paper.
2. Tape it up on the wall
3. Cut out leaves from colorful paper or buy leaf die cuts at the dollar store or teachers store.
4. Tape those leaves to the bottom and then when you write on them, you can transfer them onto the tree.

Ephesians 5 :20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

-Rejoicing in the present
