Caterpillar into Butterfly

Many times in life when we have trials we want to scream at God or hold it in and become very bitter. We tend to think that God doesn't care or we even question why he allows these things to happen to us.
I want to remind you that first off, God is not the villain here. In every book there are always good characters and bad characters. When we see the result of sin, it's because of the work of the devil. BUT what's really GREAT is that God can take any evil and turn it into good!
Gen 50:20 says  "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." This is Joseph response to his brothers after they reunited years after they had sold him into slavery. Joseph's story is an amazing proof of how God can use evil people to bring about his plan. Joseph's story is a hard one. He was sold into slavery, BUT YET, he serves God even as a slave and God promotes him. The wife of the boss, tries to get Joseph to sin with her, BUT YET Joseph does what's right and because of that, get's thrown into prison. Wow! BUT YET Joseph still does what is right and God promotes Him in jail. He interprets dreams and the man forgets about him again. God had never forgotten Joseph through this time and he puts his hand on Joseph. Very soon after this Joseph is promoted to work right under Pharaoh and eventually he saves the people that sold him into slavery from starving.
When you look at nature and you see the caterpillar and the butterfly. They look completely different. The fuzzy little green worm becomes a beautiful majestic butterfly.
For this to happen the caterpillar has to go into a cocoon for a while and then when it comes out it has to struggle and fight it's way out. If you were to help the butterfly and make it easy by cutting the cocoon so it can come out easier, you would actually be hurting the process and the butterfly would be to weak and die. I'm sure this process is not fun for them and neither are the trial in our life but sometimes this is what takes us to the place where God can use us.
I don't know where you are? You might be in prison or a slave. There might be some really evil people out against you. You may be a caterpillar or in a cocoon but don't forget that God wants to make a butterfly out of you..."But God meant it unto good!" HE's STILL IN CONTROL.
